All sessions and accommodations will be at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, which is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun with a magnificent view of the Caribbean Ocean and the Nichupte Lagoon. The contemporary Mexican-style architecture complements the beautiful natural surroundings.

Conference attendees MUST stay at the Fiesta Americana Condesa. This is an all-inclusive resort so access to the conference will not be permitted if accommodations are booked elsewhere.

Rooms must be booked as part of the registration process (not directly with the hotel).

These will be booked at the following μSR2011 conference rates*

Deluxe Single: $250.00 USD per person, per night, per room**.
Deluxe Double: $300.00 USD per room, per night based on double adult occupancy**.

***Payment for accommodations are due upon checkout***

Children:
- 0-4 years old at no additional charge
- 5 to 12 years old at $55.00 USD per child, per night
- older than 13 years old pay the same rate as an adult

Room rates will be honoured for 3 days prior and 3 days following the conference.

Attendees wishing to share a room who do not yet have a roommate, may choose the Double Occupancy rate. We will do our best to accommodate the requests, but if we are unable to do so, attendees will be required to pay the Single Occupancy rate.

* Notes:
1. The conference room rates are all-inclusive, and hence there is no additional cost for meals, drinks, wireless service etc. Also, some of the conference amenities are packaged into these rates. Attendees who book rooms independent of the conference will be subject to additional registration fees.
2. Most restaurants at the resort require semi-formal attire in the evenings.
3. These rates assume 0% VAT. The qualifications for 0% VAT are described below. If 0% VAT compliance is not achieved, 11% VAT (to be confirmed) will be added to the above room rates.

**The Mexican Government has instituted a Zero Percent Value Added Tax program for foreign-run conferences, for which μSR qualifies. In order to receive the 0% VAT room rate, attendees must comply with the following:

Attendees must have the immigration document (tourist card) provided to all international visitors upon arrival in Mexico. Such document must be properly stamped by immigration authorities and valid at least for the duration of the program. These immigration documents will be provided to the hotel upon arrival or prior to check-out.
Attendees must provide the hotel with a valid passport. The hotel will photocopy the passport and immigration documents, keeping these confidential at all times unless audited or subpoenaed by competent government authorities. The hotel will not use such documents for any other purpose other than proof for VAT exemption requirements.
For 0% VAT to apply to individual participants who are paying their bills upon checkout, payments must be made by a credit card issued abroad (not from Mexico).
